Our community guidelines
Asiri Community brings together people learning and working in data protection. Help make this a place where everyone can contribute with confidence.
1. Be useful and respectful.
Discuss ideas without attacking people. Harassment, threats, discrimination, sexual exploitation, graphic violence, and illegal content have no place here. Avoid spam, repetitive promotion, and misleading claims.
2. Keep private information private.
Do not post client records, credentials, private conversations, personal identifiers, or confidential company information. Anonymise examples and share only material you have permission to publish.
3. Be clear about what you know.
Describe your experience and link to reliable sources. Distinguish a personal opinion from a requirement. A public role label is self-described; an answer or helpful vote is not a certification or a professional endorsement.
4. Represent yourself honestly.
Use your own account. Do not impersonate a person or organisation. Speak for a company only when its owner has authorised you through Asiri. Share affiliations when they are relevant.
5. Give media and links context.
Share images and videos you have the right to use, with useful descriptions. Never upload harmful files or publish content that exposes someone without permission.
6. Help us look after the space.
Use Report on a post or profile when something needs review. You can block another member. Moderators can hold, redact, remove or lock content and restrict participation. Decisions affecting you appear in your inbox, where you can appeal.
Your content and your choices
Published profiles and conversations are public and may appear in search engines. Drafts remain private. You can edit or withdraw your own contributions and export your Community records in settings. When a reply with comments is withdrawn, a neutral placeholder preserves the remaining conversation.
Removed or withdrawn bodies and private review evidence normally expire after 90 days; an unresolved appeal preserves the evidence needed for its review. Moderation metadata is retained for up to 12 months, with active restrictions retained while they apply.
For an urgent privacy concern, contact Asiri. These guidelines work alongside the Asiri terms and privacy notice.
